St Hermes Church, Ronse, Belgium.
After my morning discipline, I found two messages waiting. One was from a dear friend traveling through Europe, a Benedictine monk now in Washington, D.C., who had sent a photograph of the statues at the entrance to St. Hermes Church in Ronse, Belgium.
It landed as a quiet blessing a simple exchange, a shared moment in the fellowship of the Spirit. Our friendship continues to unfold in ways I could not have anticipated.
I never expected to feel such a deep resonance with the Catholic tradition, yet here it is. I don’t know where this thread will lead, only that the journey continues.
